Painted on an acid-free watercolor paper, the artist employed various materials and techniques. But generally a water-based medium, it was executed in the principle of a watercolorist's virtue. That is, leaving out the paper's white ground, keeping up an open space with psychological reservation but determined to affirm it irrevocably. There are instinctive moments when an artist confides that whatever is done is done forever.
