Year: 1981
Size: 15 x 21
Medium: Watercolor, Pen & Ink

This pen & ink on a watercolor wash and ink staining process is an early formative work. It was done as academic requirement and as a preliminary study for mural painting. The sketchiness of this work surprisingly reveals the young artist's liberal attitude towards formal disciplines of drawing. Although this was not executed into a scale it was intended, the individual subject would, time and again, emerge into his later works.
