MIGRATORY ROUTE OF TURTLE YUMI

We attached Yumi's transmitter on 16 Oct 1998. The route above was plotted using only high quality ARGOS satellite locations received between 22 Oct 1998 and 29 Jan 1999.

Playing with this interactive animation of Yumi's movements gives you a feeling for the timing of her movements. Watch the data window as you see the turtle icon moving across the animation's map. (In older browsers the Macromedia Flash 3.0 plugin has to be installed to be able to view the interactive animations.)

MIGRATORY ROUTE OF HANI

We attached Hani's transmitter on 17 Oct 1998. The route above was plotted using only high quality ARGOS satellite locations received between 21 Oct 1998 and 31 Dec 1998.

Playing with this interactive animation of Hani's movements gives you a feeling for the timing of her movements. Watch the data window as you see the turtle icon moving across the animation's map.
